Paula Reed brings over 25 years of experience across PreK-12 and higher education, including leadership roles in start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. In 2017, she became the founder and CEO of BizEducation Consulting, where she consults with education businesses to effectively position their services to meet the needs of school district leaders across the country. As a trusted advisor, master connector, and strategic liaison, Paula maintains relationships with C-level administrators and educators from rural, suburban, and urban school districts as well as many business leaders. She has developed a unique perspective to understanding what district leaders want from business partners and how business partners can effectively grow their business.
Paula has a proven track record in sales strategy, marketing, thought leadership, event planning, and executive coaching aka “business therapy”. She has held senior roles including Chief Strategy Officer, VP of Sales and Marketing, and National Director of Strategic Education Partnerships. She’s attended and managed hundreds of conferences and events, has a full understanding of how they operate, and how to properly plan for the greatest outcomes.
In 2025, she’s incorporated “business therapy” into her core offerings. She provides mentorship and coaching to CEOs, superintendents, entrepreneurs, account executives, school district administrators, and teachers. Many want to know how to transition to new roles or grow within their current role. This offering allows her to share how to take advantage of great opportunities, how to plan for the growth, and how to navigate various workplace challenges.
She has served on Montgomery and Baltimore Counties’ Foundation Boards. Currently, she serves on two corporate boards, an advisory board member for the Institute for Education Innovation (IEI), and a board member for Atlanta’s Grant Park Conservancy.
Most importantly, Paula is deeply committed to supporting educators and especially, improving outcomes for all children. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, dog and fish. She loves hanging with her family, traveling, reading, genealogy, and cooking.
